One of the largest green bean markets in the world during its heyday, the Bean Market today provides a link to South Carolina's past. The Bean Market is also Lake City’s community gathering space, and is host to the weekly Farmers’ Market, as well as special events like the “Writers in the Round” concert featuring Frank Rogers, producer and songwriter of 36 number-one country hits.
