ArtFields celebrates art and agriculture with 10 days of events including music, food, art and fun. Artists from 12 southeastern states are invited to compete for a juried art prize.


Each March, Moore Farms Botanical Gardens--Lake City's own gorgeous, 54-acre botanical garden--throws open its doors to celebrate the arrival of spring and the blooming of thousands of daffodils and bulbs! Check out the Moore Farms site to learn more about this festival.

Daffodil Festival

Each spring, the Lake City Junior Sorosis Club sponsors the Daffodil Festival at Moore Farms Botanical Garden, featuring garden strolls, music, and more--all in the stunning spring gardens. You can purchase your tickets for $25 from the Greater Lake City Chamber of Commerce for this great event!

MFBG Beer Fest

Each September, Moore Farms hosts a not-to-be-missed celebration of craft beer and cultivation in the Garden! Regional brewers bring their best samples, local musicians provide entertainment, and we all expand our palates with fine craft brews from across the Southeast.

May Days

Join us each May for the May Days Plant Sale and BBQ, a weekend-long garden open held at Moore Farms, where you'll have the opportunity to purchase plants grown and grafted by Moore Farms' horticulturalists, enjoy local barbecue, and participate in horticultural activities!


In early fall, the Moore Farms staff creates an evening of upscale dining and entertainment to celebrate the local muscadine, the thick-skinned and hardy grape. With muscadine-themed dishes and muscadine wine, this is a great opportunity to try out this Southern crop in the splendor of Moore Farms!


ColorFall, Moore Farms' fall garden open, brings fall activities, plant sales, music, barbecue, and more to the Lake City community as we open the doors to the garden and let you purchase plants cultivated by our trained staff!


Each spring, Moore Farms hosts an Eggstraganza egg hunt, where local children come to track down hidden eggs through the beautiful gardens and compete to find the mysterious Golden Egg! With face painting, crafts, and more, this is the perfect way to enjoy a spring morning with your family.

South Carolina Farmer’s Festival

Tobacco Festival

Each September, thousands of people flock to Lake City from across South Carolina for the annual Tobacco Festival, a celebration of our local agricultural with local music, art exhibits and exciting competitions on the Village Green.

Annual Junior Women’s Club Oyster Roast

The Lake City Junior Women’s Club holds an oyster roast each February to raise money for local schools and charities. Tickets include food, drinks and music from local bands. Contact [email protected] for more information.
